Blush-pink is everywhere right now and I couldn't be happier!
From soft sweaters and knitwear to pleated skirts, jewelry, handbags, and even shearling socks, it's become a front-runner in the fashion industry, and it's clear to see that it's here to stay. And I don't know about you, but I just can't seem to get enough of it right now -- it's such a soft, feminine, beautiful color -- and I find myself incorporating it more and more into my wardrobe.
If you have a penchant for pink like I do, I've rounded up several blushing beauties that are sure to satisfy your craving and that won't break the bank! Woohoo!
(Just click on any of the numbers above to shop!)
I couldn't stop myself there, though.
I spotted even more pretty pieces that I'm coveting and that I just had to share with you...because sharing is caring, lol!
(Just scroll through the photos and click on the ones you like!)

Are any of these calling your name?
Let me know which ones!
Thanks for stopping by and have a good night!

Classic Camel

A camel blazer is an essential piece to any wardrobe.
Not only is it a staple for the workplace, but it can easily be dressed up or down for running quick errands around town or for dinner and drinks with friends after-hours. It can really pull together and polish even the most seemingly-boring or basic outfit.
A high-quality, well-fitting blazer is definitely an investment, I know, but the great news is that it will pay for itself many times over with its frequency of wear (cost per wear.) Dressed up or dressed down, it will see a ton of use, giving you the most "bang for your buck" because it will remain a classic and versatile piece that stands the test of time while trends and fast-fashion items will come and go.

This classic camel blazer from Banana Republic has served me well over the years -- through countless meetings, luncheons, semi-casual dinner events and more -- and it's still going strong! I managed to score it on sale, and I like that it is fully-lined and has a wool/spandex fabric blend, which gives it a hint of stretch for a more contouring, flattering fit. It's also more of a cropped length, which I prefer on my petite, 5'2" frame, since the length hits above the hips and doesn't chop off the leg line, making me look taller and leaner.
Yes and yes!
This blazer also has the cutest, rounded pockets with inverted-pleat detailing on the front, which I don't see very often. And along the back, it has a nice, buttoned belt, similar to what you might find on a more dressy vest or winter coat.
These special details, along with the cropped fit, help to give the blazer a more feminine look and silhouette, which I love.

For a semi-casual look, I paired this blazer with my current favorite white skinny jeans from Ann Taylor. These are the modern skinny ankle jeans, which have a more tapered fit at the ankle and are the most flattering, in my opinion.
I've said it before, but Ann Taylor is one of my favorite stores -- not only for their great selection of classic, feminine styles -- but for their multiple sizing options. These jeans, for example, are offered in regular, petite, and tall sizes, which is, in a word: awesome!
When I'm aiming for a more dressy look with jeans, I don't want to cuff the ankles; I want a clean leg line, especially with pumps. These do the trick perfectly in the petite sizing, which have a 26" inseam, and don't require any cuffing - woohoo!
(I'm wearing size 00P for reference.)
I highly recommend these jeans if you're searching for a flattering pair of white jeans that aren't see-through. They also come in a curvy version here.
These jeans are currently an additional 40% off with code "ANN40"!

Even though Fall has officially arrived, L.A. is still battling a heat wave, so I've been forced to wear more lightweight layers. For this look, I chose a cotton top in classic navy stripes to layer under the blazer; the navy and camel colors compliment each other nicely, and the top is also practical in that it's cool and breathable.
A navy-striped top is also a must-have in any wardrobe!
I'm admittedly a bit of striped-top hoarder, but I'm telling you: each top serves its own purpose and sees its fair share of use -- with skirts, jeans, layered under dresses -- you name it, I've tried it.
And if it works, why reinvent the wheel, right?
If you're looking for a couple of cute options, try here and here!
I finished the look with more of my favorite classics: brown, leather accessories.
These Ann Taylor heels are the perfect neutral (especially for Fall!) and have the most comfy, padded insoles. They're from last season, but this season's version in patent leather is very similar and looks like a great alternative. More options worth trying are here, here, here, and here.
For a matching handbag, I recommend similar Tory Burch bags in the "Tiger's Eye" color here, here, here, and here. These versatile bags are also investment pieces, but they are very high-quality and will last years with proper care!
Last but not least, I chose my Kate Spade floral pearl necklace to complete the look. The gold collar design is beautiful and timeless, and the pearl-centered flowers add a playful twist to a standard pearl necklace. If you're looking to add a pearl collar necklace to your collection, I found a pretty alternative for you here.
I hope you enjoyed this classic camel look! As always, thanks for stopping by, and I hope you have a wonderful evening!

Office-Chic Navy Florals

Leafy Sleeveless Blouse (here, also cute here, here, here) //
Navy Pencil Skirt (here) //
Blush Collarless Blazer - old (similar here, here, here) //
Nude Patent Dome Satchel - old (similar here, here) // Pearl Stud Earrings (here) //
Gold Bangle Bracelets - gifted (similar here)
One of my favorite go-to looks for the office is a pretty blouse and a well-fitting pencil skirt. It's simple and sophisticated and, importantly, work-appropriate.
Today I'm featuring this office-chic, navy floral look.
This Ann Taylor leafy sleeveless blouse immediately caught me eye when I was perusing the online sale styles. The rich, navy color is classic and beautiful, and the leafy print in hushed shades of blush and cream is subtle, pretty, and perfect for the recent transition to Fall. The material drapes nicely and isn't prone to wrinkles, which is always a plus. I'm completely smitten with it!
(Sizes keep popping back in this blouse, so check for re-stocks!)
I kept the look monochromatic by adding a matching navy pencil skirt, which is a recent LOFT sale find as well.
Ladies, let me just tell you -- this skirt is amazing! While it looks like any other basic pencil skirt, the fit is what makes it stand out from the rest.  The fabric has a nice stretch to it, allowing the skirt to gently hug and flatter your curves as a great pencil skirt should. The strategically-placed seaming also helps to keep everything "sucked in" (Hallelujah! lol)
I love it to pieces and know that it will see a lot of use for many seasons to come!
Snag one while you can -- it's still 40% off with code "SHOPSMART"!

I always bring a cardigan or blazer to the office as well; it keeps the look professional, especially in a more conservative work environment, while also doing double-duty to help combat the frigid temps from the blasting air-conditioning.
You already how much I love blush-pink, so it's no surprise I chose this pink blazer to layer over the blouse! It's the prettiest shade of pink, and it plays off of the color of the leaves in the blouse so well, serving as a nice contrasting color to the dark navy.
This blazer is a rare gem I found at Forever 21 about a year ago, and I love the no-collar style; it gives it a more streamlined look. It's also structured with sewn-in shoulder padding (light padding, thankfully, so I don't look like a linebacker...ha!) and has a good, sturdy weight to it. It's also fully-lined and is very good quality.
I'm always thrilled to find these kinds of pieces at a fraction of the cost compared to other designers/brands!

I chose nude, patent accessories to keep the look clean and classic.
I scored this patent dome satchel from Marshalls several years ago, and it's still one of my all-time favorites. The brand is Arcadia, which is an Italian handbags and accessories company. All of their products are hand-crafted and 100% made in Italy -- always a great sign! The quality for the price simply can't be beat.
This dome satchel is from their Icons collection, which consists of a variety of classic, patent satchels in a host of beautiful colors. (With several currently on sale if you're interested!)

These patent pumps have also become a closet staple of mine. They're by Jessica Simpson, and I scored them on major sale from Nordstrom Rack a few years ago. They're the perfect, creamy-nude shade and are surprisingly comfortable. I can wear them for hours without my feet aching.
The good news is that they're still available online (YESSS!)
I found them here, here, and here!
I'm really considering ordering another pair as a back-up since these ones are on such heavy rotation, and I just know I'll have a minor panic attack if they completely sell out or are discontinued.

I know,!

To finish the look, I added light, dainty jewelry like these pearl stud earrings and two gold baby bangle bracelets
Baby bracelets are where it's at for you ladies with super-small wrists like mine! My wrist diameter is about 2.5" at the narrowest part, so bracelets that measure 3 - 4" are ideal for me.
I wear mine almost daily, which were gifted to me by my in-laws, and I love their versatility and simplicity of design.
Overall, this look is a very typical office look for me, and I like that the pieces are modern yet feminine and pretty, but also work-appropriate. Getting the most use of them by taking them from the office to a night out is also key, and these pieces do the job perfectly. They can easily be swapped out with everything from dress pants, jeans, tanks, or tees for endless, lovely combos.
What are some of your favorite office go-to looks?
Thanks so much for reading and happy Friday!

Rocksbox: Overview / My Picks / Promo Code

This post is for all of my fellow jewelry-obsessed ladies!
(Raise your hand!)
Today I'm talking about the ever-so-popular designer jewelry rental company:  Rocksbox
Several of you have reached out to me inquiring about it after seeing some of the pieces featured in my Instagram posts, so I wanted to dedicate a full blog post to it to:
1) Provide you with an overview of what it is and how it works;
2) Share some of my favorite picks with you, and;
3) Show you how I've styled a few of them
I'm also sharing an exclusive promo code that you can use to try Rocksbox for one month FREE, so be sure to read on!
So, what exactly is Rocksbox and how does it work?
Well, very simply put: Rocksbox is the "Netflix" of designer jewelry. Except, instead of movies, you're getting gorgeous pieces of jewelry (obviously.) ;-)
It's a unique subscription service that provides you three (3) pieces of designer jewelry for only $19/month. The pretty baubles or "rocks" are carefully wrapped and secured in the cutest, ribbon-tied box (hence the name) and shipped right to your doorstep!
The jewelry is essentially "on loan" to you for as long as you want until you decide to swap them out for new pieces. There are unlimited swaps, so if you want to swap out all the pieces or only one or two of them as often as every week, go for it! You control the frequency of your boxes.
This is a great way to try out new trends from the top jewelry designers without splurging on pieces you'll wear only a few times.
I'm totally guilty of the fast-fashion, jewelry "impulse purchases" and may or may not still have some of it cluttering up my jewelry boxes. (Oops.) This is definitely the convenient, more cost-effective way to sample ever-changing jewelry trends.
And, even better:  if you just can't bear to part with your favorites, keep what you love and buy them at a discount! Every piece has its own discounted purchase price -- some at 50% retail -- for Rocksbox members only. Members are also granted exclusive access to the new online store, to take their pick from the entire collection, and buy at discounted prices. Win-win!
What is extra special about this service, though, is that each piece of jewelry is carefully selected for you by a Rockbox stylist.
Once you sign up, you'll take a couple of minutes to complete Rocksbox's brief, online style survey and create your profile. You'll then be prompted to peruse their vast selection of designer pieces and add your favorites to your dedicated wish list. This allows the stylists to get a feel for your preferences and curate a box of jewelry that is best-suited to your individual style. Awesome, right?
